Vegan Valentine’s Day Recipes for at Home Success!

For the first time in memorable history, us Brits are experiencing Valentine’s Day without the security and convenience of booking a restaurant meal.  For those of you that are sweating it big, we’ve got some great suggestions for easy, delicious and 100% vegan recipes to wow your significant other this Valentine’s Day with guaranteed at-home success!

Vegan Cauliflower Cheezy Pasta Bake


We chose to make our cheezy sauce using a combination of nutritional yeast, lemon juice, cashew nuts and spring onions.

Here we’ve combined two of our favourite cheesy baked delights and made them into one great big comfort food hug, the Vegan Cauliflower Cheez Pasta Bake. Yum!

For the optimum cheesy flavour we use both nutritional yeast flakes in this sauce, though you may want to pick up some vegan cheese too to maximise on that cheesy flavour.

Creamy Macaroni Salad

Considering a romantic midday walk with your significant other (in your local area, of course)?

Our vegan macaroni salad is best eaten cold and offers the perfect lunch time offering for whatever creative romantic situation you hope to get into this year.

It’s packed with veggies and a kick of spice from some cayenne pepper. Our secret ingredient is the maple syrup, yum!

Smoky Mac-Stuffed Sweet Potato


Before you assume the worst, our sweet potato recipe is actually relatively healthy! It’s a great way to experiment with liquid smoke if you haven’t tried it yet.

Partnered with kale, corn and pumpkin puree it combines the best of both worlds; a bit of stodge mixed with healthy, wholesome vegan ingredients.

If you’re like us and you enjoy garlic, don’t be opposed to adding more than one close of garlic for some delicious garlicky flavour. Just don’t blame us if your date complains of the inevitable garlic breath!

Vegan Vodka Tagliatelle

Booze and pasta go in hand in hand like lovers.  Use your favourite vegan parmesan alternative to make this a winning combination.

This recipe is versatile – if you have fresh tomatoes to use up (the riper and squishier the better) replace the canned ones with about 800g roughly chopped fresh tomatoes. Feel free to add in any vegetables that need using up – courgettes and peppers work well. If you prefer, omit the vodka, or add white wine, sherry or vermouth!
